Excellent little site very peaceful and quiet in superb location, a few miles away from Alnwick castle and beautiful beaches of Bamburgh, the owner Harry is very helpful and goes above and beyond to help anyone out,
He keeps the place spotlessly clean
I have been going here for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Just come back from a lovely stay at Low Hedgeley site. This is one of the best small sites, kept to a very high standard good walking area in easy reach of lovely Northumberland coast. I have used this site since Harry opened and cannot fault it.

This is a lovely small site. Well laid out with two areas separated by a tall hedge. The facilities are just right with a water point beside each pitch and the WC is always nicely cleaned. Harry is a great character and very helpful. We walked and cycled straight from the park and enjoyed all the routes.
If you are looking for a small, quiet site that is perfectly maintained this is the one to go for. Very reasonable price also. We will certainly be back.
By the way it took us 20 minutes to drive from Alnwick in our motorhome.

Stayed here for a week. Mr & Mrs Vickers were very welcoming and keep the site immaculate. The grass is kept well mown and the hardstandings and pitches are level. The toilet and other facilities are spotless. There are several walks from the site which as a dog owner was perfect as one can follow the disused railway line and go in a big circle coming back along the very attractive river to the site. We visited several castles and in particular found the ones at Chillingham and Warkworth wonderful together with beautiful and almost deserted beaches. Finally we look forward to visiting this superb CL next season.

Excellent small caravan site, hardstandings and carefully manicured lawns between nicely spaced pitches. Owners are very friendly and helpful. No showers but an immaculate toilet. Close to the Breamish river valley. There is a nice walk to the river where the Hedgeley estate has created some wildfowl lakes on old gravel workings. Good small Londis convenience store nearby. Recommended.

A charming friendly site
What a lovely C.L.,on arrival we were greeted by the owner Harry Vickers and were made extremely welcome. The site was immaculate and well manicured, each pitch with both electrical hook up and water point ,and with plenty of space between each van. The toilet was spotless and obviously well cared for. A real treasure!

We have just returned from our third visit from Low Hedgeley, we love it. Excellent walks for the dog directly from the site, either along the disused railway track or down by the river. Easy access to the wonderful beaches and excellent pubs. The site is kept immaculate – better than ours at home ! – with the grass cut ( and picked up) so no clippings trailing into the ‘van, and lovely stone troughs filled with flowers is a really nice touch. Mr & Mrs Vickers are very friendly and Mr V calls regularly to make sure everything is alright. We will certainly be back. Thank you Harry for another wonderful stay.
